I am descended from Jedediah Tingle and his wife Elizabeth Reeder, through their son Samuel Parker Tingle. I was wondering if other subscribers to OHWARREN were descended from, or researching, the same family. David Shaw

Elizabeth Reeder's father, David Reeder, was a brother of my husband's ancestor Joseph Reeder IV, from whom Wilbur and Orville Wright also are descended. David and Joseph IV's parents were Joseph III and Susan GANO Reeder. Susan's brother, Rev. John Gano, was the chaplain who baptized George Washington. I assume you know the Tingle family's connection to the Harmon family. We have fairly extensive information about the Reeder family on paper, but not yet entered into our genealogy computer file.
