Dear List, I am new to the list, so I thought I'd share the families I'm researching. I am currently researching the Dearth and McGriff families that lived in the Springboro area of Warren Co. My g-g-g-grandmother was Lavina Dearth who was born in Warren Co. in 1839, a daughter of Allen Dearth and Margaret Deardorff. Lavina married John McGriff in 1857 in Warren Co. and later moved to the Bloomfield Twp. (near DesMoines), Iowa. John McGriff was a son of Amberson and Nellie VanSchoyck McGriff.
