Greetings fellow Warren Co list members! I have just come across a new lead in a long time puzzle and I am hoping that someone out there can help me out a bit. I'm looking for the information off of the grave marker for Jacob Schnorf (Sr.) b. c1742, d. cMar-1827 in Warren Co, OH. According to family reports, he and his wife and others of their family were buried on the farm that he owned in the N 1/2 of S20, T3E, R4N in Turtlecreek Twp, between Red Lion and (presently) Otterbein. The new lead is that the stones were taken up and moved to another cemetery along with members of Jacob's wife's family, the Kinders. One cousin believes that the second cemetery may be located in Franklin or Miamisburg. MY QUERY: Does anyone have listings of any/all cemeteries in Franklin and Miamisburg? PLEASE! If you do, will you look to see if there are ANY Schnorf or Kinder burials listed. We have Schnorf family members preparing to travel to Warren Co for on-site research and this new information could hopefully lead them to the answer to a mystery that other researchers have encountered for several generations. mrbill William A. Hi all, I'm trying to find an obit or death cert for a Jonah Littleton who possibly died in Warren Co in 1901. He is listed as being in Washington Twp in the 1850 Warren Co, census. His first wife was Mary Jane Powers LITTLETON and she is buried in the Union Church Burial Grounds on Gum Grove Road. Is it possible that her husband is buried there too? After Mary Janes death in 1858, he married a Lucretia ?? and there's a chance they moved to Miami Co. Does anyone know for what years Warren Co maintained birth and death records? Dear List, I am new to the list, so I thought I'd share the families I'm researching. I am currently researching the Dearth and McGriff families that lived in the Springboro area of Warren Co. My g-g-g-grandmother was Lavina Dearth who was born in Warren Co. in 1839, a daughter of Allen Dearth and Margaret Deardorff. Lavina married John McGriff in 1857 in Warren Co. and later moved to the Bloomfield Twp. (near DesMoines), Iowa. John McGriff was a son of Amberson and Nellie VanSchoyck McGriff. As you no doubt know, this new address still doesn't work (for me at least). I've personally found the best way to insert addresses like these in an email message is to copy and paste from your browser. That way there's no chance for an error. Is there a death index or cemetery index for Warren county back in the early 1800's. I am trying to find the death date for Moses KITCHEL and his wife Phoebe. I believe he died about 1818 and she about 1824. I would appreciate any information at all about this couple. Jacquelyn
