I'm looking for information on the families of the following people who married Whetsels and lived in Clinton or Warren County. I have a few dates on them that I believe to be accurate. From what I understand the county line changed a few times, so whether they were actually in Clinton or Warren County, I'm not sure. I'm also curious as to whether Sarah and Hanah Hartman were sisters. Hello, Allow me to introduce myself. I'm David and I'm new to this particlar mailing. I just found out I may have some roots here in Warren County and hope someone can help get going in the right direction. First of all, is South Lebannon in Warren County? Or at least was it in the county in 1910? I have a death certificate of a Great Aunt that says she was born in South Lebannon in 1910. Next question: Does some one have access to the 1910 Census of Warren County, OH? If someone does, could they check for the surname of DENIGHT / DANIGHT / DEKNIGHT / DENITE / DANITE ? It seems as if this family was on the move between Clinton and Clermont Counties, and based on this death certificate, Warren County as well. Any assitance would be appreciated. Respectfully yours, David

Susan: Only info on Molleson in Beers book is him listed as trustee of Franklin Township from 1854 to 1859. I can send you page if you want (it's actually page 551). I have the book on CD but it can't be copied electronically. There's a reference to a John Molleson as a blacksmith on another page. Will need your snail mail if you still want. Debi
Per two large OH Atlas maps on my shelf: Bethany OH is located in BUTLER Co, in Liberty Twp. It is on the E. side of the County, along the Warren Co border. The best way to locate it is to find Interstate 75 (runs N-S), then Bethany Rd (run E-W) It is just west of that junction. Butler Co was formed in 1803, with Hamilton as the Co. Seat; Warren Co was also formed in 1803, with Lebanon as the County Seat. Hope this helps. Yes, I know. Bethany is in Butler County :) But, my ggg-grandfather's death certificate (JOHN B. W. ENYART) states he was born in Bethany, Warren County, Ohio in 1844. As far as I can tell, there were no "border" changes in that period, so I am 'guessing' that he may have been born near the border of the two counties. QUESTION: Is there a cemetery near Bethany, kind of on the border of Warren and Butler Counties?? I can't find my ENYART family burial spots anywhere so far. The ENYARTS were in Warren County from approx. 1820 to at least 1870.....but where did they put their loved ones to rest????? Any assistance or suggestions would be sincerely appreciated. Lynne K. It is almost a certainly that HUGH D. ENYART and his wife, RACHEL W. ENYART are buried in Warren County, Ohio.....s-o-m-e-w-h-e-r-e! They were residents of Deerfield Township to I suspect they rest in a cemetery near South Lebanon and/or Mason. Hugh's parents, DAVID & MARY ENYART are possibly with them. Would some kind soul be able to look through the cemetery records of Warren County for these illusive ggg-grandparents or even a hint which cemetery to look in. Please. I surely appreciate any help you can offer. Lynne K. Streich (I watch from chilly Bay City, Michigan, with fingers & toes crossed :)
