I'd appreciate any information on Samuel Spencer Boone, son of Arnold Boone. Arnold and his family came to Warren County in 1837, first to the Springborough Monthly Meeting, and then to the Miami MM. If anyone has Hinshaw's index to Springborough MM I'd appreciate very much hearing what is there about Samuel. Arthur Hopkins Arthur Hopkins Bend, Oregon www.transport.com/~arthopkins/

Hello, I've only joined this list for a few days as I have no genealogical interest in Warren County. I'm just looking for someone who is researching the surname WELCH. I've come across an old arithmatic book, copyright 1877. On the inside cover is written, "Mattie Welch, Morrow, Ohio 1882". The book is not in very good condition, but would still be a good keepsake. I'd like to see the book in the hands of some family member. Are there any Welch descendants on the list? Thanks. Janet jmacke@seidata.com
Thanks Darlene, but someone else sent me the address for Cardinal Research and I sent them a letter detailing what I wanted. Hopefully they will be able to get results for me. Thanks anyway. Marylou

My dad and I are thinking about possibly coming to Warren County the first or second week of July. I am very unfamiliar with this area as I live in Neponset, Illinois which is about 6 or 7 hours away from Warren County. On my visit I would like to visit area cemteries where relatives of mine are buried. I would also like to visit any library or archive where there is information about my ancestors of mine. The surnames I am researching are: Blinn, Batten, Eyer, Frye, Wilhoit, Hiliman, and any other families related to this surnames. I would appreciate any and all help that anyone can give. I am especially interested in cemeteries so if you know where any of the previously mentioned surnames are buried in any of the area cemeteries, please let me know. Thank you.
