    1. Hays/Houston - 1830,1840 Census
    2. Karen Carlyle
    3. Hello, Does anyone have the 1830 or 1840 census? I am looking for: John or James Hays - Town of Lebanon. John M. Houston - Town of Lebanon Does anyone know if there is a library I can write to for the census (if no one has it?) If anyone is researching Hays/Hayes in Warren Co. or adjacent counties I'd love to hear from you. My ancestor Samuel Hays (1813-?) is proving to be rather elusive! Thanks, Karen Carlyle Toronto, Canada

    2. Karen... The John M Houston you mentioned, was he the husband of Lydia Truitt Houston? John married Lydia's sister Matilda after Lydia died a young woman. If my research is correct, there seem to be two John M Houstons in the early days of Warren County and the one mentioned above is my ggg grandfather. Happy to share with you what I know if you're interested. Becky in AZ

    1. Question Please
    2. I am going to have about half day on Friday that I can spend either in the Dayton Ohio library or the Cincinnati Library. I need to know which would have both soundex and census records for 1910 and 1920 Ohio. I would rather use Dayton if possible. I understand there was once a town named New Burlington that was covered by a flood control lake, but that there is still a New Burlington cemetery. Is this correct? If so, which county would it be in, Warren or Clinton? Thanks, JN
