There were 130 guests present, some from Illinois, Columbus, Athens, McArthur, Hamden and from other localities. The day was appropriate for the occasion being cloudy until after noon with a good breeze stirring. The tables were prepared up on the lawn and loaded to their capacity with the richest and sweetest that goes to tickle the palate and appease the appetite. Before partaking of dinner a very interesting address by Jerry MARTIN was delivered, thanks offered by Mr. Luster STANLEY of Athens showing our dependence upon Him who is able to provide. After dinner Mr. MILLER a photographer from Athens turned his camera upon us and we enjoyed a few minutes of real quiet, after which the sale of the photos began.
