I am curious to know if the community of Clarion was located outside Wilkesville. My grandfather and grandmother Daniel Jack Sorrell and Elsie Edith (Cardwell) Sorrell were residents of Vinton Co. and lived on Clarion Rd. as it is now called. The road starts at St.Rt. 124 and ends on County Rd. 9 (Buttermilk Rd.) Was this the Clarion that is mentioned occasionally in the old articles? Willa D. Glass
