Kathy: There is a very active Genealogical Society in Vinton County, Ohio. Suggest that you go to the Ohio Genealogical Society site and click on Vinton County. The Society sells several publications, one of which lists my great grandfather James McCafferty and his wife Melissa Sharp McCafferty who as indigents were buried by the County.
