    2. Friday, Jan 4, 1991, The Athens Messenger ATHENS Robert J. Zetty 63, of Louise Lane, died unexpectedly Friday morning at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital after being admitted late Thursday. Born in Columbus, he was the son of Archie E. Zetty of Columbus and the late Ruth Hanna Zetty. Mr. Zetty retired in 1990 from Columbia Gas of Ohio, where he was Community Relations Manager and Economic Development Manager of the South East District. He was a 1945 graduate of Columbus West High School and attended Ohio State University. He was a member of Magnolia Lodge in Columbus, a member and past president of Athens United Appeal, board member of Athens County Food Bank, a former active member of Athens Kiwanis Club and formerly worked for International Harvester Co, and Gail Watkins Implement Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Germany. Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, Jeanette Cohagen Zetty; two daughters, Kathleen Nicholas of Athens, and Mrs David (Patricia) Coker of Dover, Del; a son and his finance', Marc Zetty and Debbie Scida of Columbus; four grandsons, Michael and Jonathan Nicholas of Athens, and Nathan and Jeremy Coker of Dover; and two aunts, Matia Watts and Ferne Zetty of Columbus. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Jagers and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Athens Kiwanis Club will conduct services Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. ---------------------- CARL PHILLIPS ATHENS--Carl L. Phillips, 72, of Hickory Street, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon at Grant Hospital in Columbus after being transferred there earlier in the day. Born at Phillips Lane, Mr. Phillips had lived for a number of years in his family home. He was the son of Nellie Bailes Phillips of Athens and the late Frank L. Phillips.
