A dinner was served to 40 guests and the immediate family at the noon hour. At this time the guests were honored with two trumpet solos by their grandson Donald E. Dearth. "Auld Lange Syne" and "Home Sweet Home" , which was followed by some beautiful remarks and poems by the Reverend Raymond S. Daniel. In the afternoon Miss Jane Steele of Creola sand in her charming manner, "Believe Me If All These Endearing Young Charms" and "When I Come to the End of a Perfect Day." Mr and Mrs Dearth were pleasantly surprised by the large number of lovely gifts from their many friends and relatives. Refreshments were served in the afternoon.
