Angie SPIVEY of Norfolk, VA, was the guest of L. B. CANNY for a few days. She was called home by the accident of her husband. Harvey CHESSER of Millersport, was in our vicinity Tuesday looking after the interests of his farm that he recently purchased of Ellis BROWN. Lavinia CHESSER who has been employed in Athens for some time is spending a week with home folks. We have been informed that Ellis BROWN will sell at Public Auction all his live stock and farming utensils at his farm on Tuesday October 28. Mr. BROWN expects to move to Athens. Wilbur MORRIS, Andra MORRIS and Marie MORRIS were the guests of Ida MC CLAIN Sunday. Ada TOWNSEND was a Sunday visitor at Marion MC CLAINs. George MACE, wife and daughter Mamie of Marshfield were the guests of W. M. HOLDREN Sunday. Mildred HOLDREN who has employment in Albany, spent Sunday at home. Osie TROUT was a caller in Carbondale Sunday. Last week we were unable to obtain the names of the converts at the Camp Meeting this week we have been able to obtain same, they are: Audra MORRIS, Marie MORRIS, Besse MORRIS, Jake MC CATHERINE, Leander GOODWIN, Mrs. Samuel GOODWIN, Mrs. Leander GOODWIN, Ida MC LAIN and Selma TOWNSEND. KELLY BRANCH Mr. and Mrs. Wade COLLINS and Virgie RICHARDS of Chillicothe were over Sunday guests of Owen HENDERSON and family. They also called on the families of John RAMSEY, C. G. WALLAR and Omer THOMAS of McArthur. Musa ELLIS of Batavia, N. Y. spent the week end renewing friendship in this vicinity. The farmers of this vicinity loaded a car of wheat at Ray the past week. Retta HILL is spending this week with relatives at Cincinnati, Lockbourne and Columbus. Otis HILL, wife and daughter, Ruth BERDELLE of Chillicothe Sundayed over with Otis' parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Tom HILL. Mrs. Otis HILL and daughter remained for a weeks visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. WALDRON. Harrold COZAD and family of Chillicothe were guests of Mrs. COZAD's parents over Sunday. Those on the sick list are Mr. and Mrs. J. A. BARNEY and Mrs. Calvin WALDRON. Rev. E. J. GRAVES will preach at Antioch Church October 18, at 10 A. M. Mary RAMSEY is visiting her son John and family. Mary CLARK and daughter are visiting at Washington C. H. Clem WALDRON, Johnnie HUTT and Walter LYTLE made a business trip to Chillicothe Monday P.M. MIDDLEFORK Mrs. Charles BURNS and children of Radcliff visited her parents in law Mr. and Mrs. Jno BURNS last Wednesday. Faye, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. ARBAUGH has been sick the past week. Paul, eldest son of A. P. JEFFERS of this place and Dessie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. PERRY of Arbaugh were married last Friday at Gallipolis.
