Not to confuse the issue, but I am interested in finding more information about the following William and Jonathan Jones: Jonathan Jones, born in 1799 in KY, married Catherine Morrow, September 30, 1830 in Athens County, OH (they later moved to Buchanan County, MO and were in CA by 1850). William Jones, born about 1800 in KY, married Susannah Morrow on August 10, 1820 in Athens County, OH (they later moved to Buchanan County, MO and settled there). Susannah and Catherine Morrow were sisters and it is assumed that William and Jonathan Jones were brothers. They all lived in Elk Township (which later became part of Vinton County) and left that area in the late 1830s and early 1840s. William and Susannah had a son named Levi which has made me wonder about a possible connection with the Levi Jones family in Vinton County. I would appreciate hearing about any possibilities. Carolyn
