MCNAMEE has returned from his holiday vacation in Columbus. Clifford KECK of Hawk and Hollis THERAULT? were dinner guests of B. S. WELLS? at Wilkesville last Sunday. A udrey? PHILLIPS returned to her work in Columbus last Thursday. Millie STEELE and children were dinner guests of Lon MCGLOTHLIN's family on? Sixteen last Monday. They also visited Mrs. Homer DEVAULT on Tuesday. DUNDAS Mr. and Mrs. Henry HALL had for New Year's guests; Mrs. HALL, cousin, Mr. and Mrs. Lafe FRENCH and children Geldia, Guy and Pearl of Mineral, Ohio. Frank PEARCES, Will and Mell GREGORY and also William CAMP's family have the flu. Henry MAGEE of Camp Sheridan, Alabama, has received his discharge and is now at home. Hocking Valley Section men have been cut to 8 hours per day. Joe THOMPSON of Camp Sherman spent Sunday at home. Velma TRAINER, Midge HUGHES, Garnet PENROD, spent Sunday with Edith HALL of Dundas. B. & O. section men got an increase in salary from 34 cents to 39 1/2 cents per hour. Mrs. Henry HALL received a letter from her cousin, Rev. J. H. MASON, stating he had been sent on a circuit at Reedsville, Meigs County. He has 6 appointments on his circuit. Mr. MASON moved his family from West Jefferson to Reedsville, Ohio. SANT Mr. and Mrs. George SHELL of Onio Hollow spent New Year's day with Joseph HASELTON and family. The people of this vicinity, who have had the flu are all reported better. No. 3 school begun Monday, Edith BAKER, teacher. Sarah WOLF is spending a few days with friends at Logan. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. BAKER and little granddaughter Janetta WALDREN were the guests of Eph. SHELL and family New Year's day. E. W. TURNER butchered a hog last week that balanced the scales at five hundred, dressed. Mr. and Mrs. Roy STEVENS and family were the guests of Joseph STEVENS of California Ridge Tuesday. ALLENSVILLE Carl STUCK who has been at Camp Sheridan, Alabama, and Cifford BETJEL, Camp Sherman are at home. John and Lewis KRUGER visited their sister Maggie and family at London, Ohio, last week. Misses Gayl and Reatha SCOTT are visiting relatives at Logan. Claude WYATT has the influenza. Dr. COX was called Saturday to see Ermal HAWK, whose condition is serious."
