    3. Dear List Members, A list member sent me a plat map from 1997 and I have made some comparisons. Thank you also for sending me info on how to "read" the map and where to get documentation on the land. I am relatively new to genealogy research. I guess I need to plan a trip to Ohio! Please advise me on my next step in this research. I could not come until summer of 2003, so is there places (cheep) to stay and besides the Vinton County Courthouse, where else should I plan to research? My goal would be to find the names of Abraham and Nancy (MCKEE) BRYSON parents, siblings, exact birthplace, etc. But I would be happy just to see where they lived and take pictures of where they are buried! Abraham had only two sons that had children. Winfield Scott BRYSON is my linage. My grandfather William Randolph BRYSON Jr. was the last male born from that linage. I would like to find the other BRYSON family... (my hopes are that we did not fizzle out.) Yes, this list has wonderful members and thank you for your response to my inquiry. Thank you even more for the ongoing personal stories and articles of times and places that bring such vivid images for us that are distant. This is what true history is about! Again THANK YOU! Sincerely, Diana Bryson-Brooks
