    3. >From the McArthur Democrat-Enquirer, March 12, 1919 "CLARION Mrs. Janie SHELINE spent Monday night of last week here with her son Carl and wife, going from here to Hamden Tuesday to visit relatives. Mrs. Elsie DEVAULT and daughter Ethel and Mrs. Janie PATRICK were Wellston visitors Saturday. Luther MOSSMAN moved his family to Grace LUCAS' farm west of Minerton last week. Edward STEELE was absent from school last week with a severe cold. Mrs. Carl SHELINE was the guest of relatives at Radcliff last Tuesday. Jas. STEELE was a Wellston business visitor Saturday. F. A. MCNAMEE was in Columbus over Sunday. Millie STEELE and children visited Lon MCGLOTHLIN's family on Sixteen last Saturday and Sunday. NUMBER TEN Mrs. Conrad KESSLER visited her sister Mrs. L. V. LONG at Wilkesville last week. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde SPIRES and three children are all down with the flu. Dave DAVIS of Luhrig is vissiting friends here. Mrs. Conrad KESSLER and daughter Grace KESSLER and Miss Marie SORRELL were visiting Mrs. P. J. CARPENTER Sunday. Miss Leona HAYBRON is doing house work for Mrs. Clyde SPIRES. Mrs. Susan HARRISON who has been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Sadie COLLEY of Wellston, is visiting her daughter Mrs. Joseph SPIRES. The Colley's will move to Washington C. H., Tuesday. They are going into the farming business. Bunday CASSELL has resumed his work here for P. J. CARPENTER after a ten day visit at his home in Hamden."
