Charles Franklin Collins and his wife Sarah Belle Sanford. When Sarah died he married a Hylah Cobb Harder. They had a large family and I have many nice pictures. Frank died in 1952 . He was 82 years old. Girls married names, Huston, Sheline, West, Dowler and Brown. Theresa Collins West is still alive and lives in Hillsboro . 90 + and also the wife of Harvey Collins , Faye Collins still lives in McArthur. She is 90 also. Also the brother of Frank was John Collins who lived in Clinton Twp. He was married to Martha Magoon from Vinton Co. and when she died very young, he married Jane Bowman Long. My GG grandfather Jesse Collins died in Wilkesville in 1882. I can find no trace of his wife Nancy Whetsel Collins after his death. They were the paretns of 10 children. Most of the Collins family lived in and out of Milton Twp. and Vinton Co. Probably where ever the work was at the time. Susie

Hi Susie, I am related to Collins and Dowler from that area. My paternal grandmother was a Collins and my maternal grandmother was a Dowler. I would be very interested in seeing the photo's you have. My great great grandfather was William Earl Collins, born in 1873 and died in 1943. He married Addie Darby. I have been unable to find who his father was. Is William realted to your Collins? Thanks for any help you can give. Matt Specht
