The following were present, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. VANSKY, Mr. and Mrs. R. O. WALTHALL, Mr. and Mrs. Rufus THOMAS, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. ANSEL, Mr. and Mrs. Ira V. DILES, Misses Pauline WALTHALL, Gladys THOMAS, Octa RHOADES, Ethel TRIPP, Edna TRIPP, Messrs Joseph HOWSER, C. E. MARTIN, Luther KIMMEY, Edward KIMMEY, Zedda THOMAS and Woodrow THOMAS. Ice cream and cake were served. Everyone seemed to enjoy the evening immensely. KNOX NUMBER ONE Mrs. Will HOLDREN and daughter Emma were guests of relatives in Mineral a few days last week. Misses Gladyse PHILLIPS and Osie TROUT were calling at the home of Willis SAYLOR Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Vera KNOWLTON of Lookout was at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. TEWKSBURY last Sunday. Mrs. Harvey CHESSER, daughter Mildred and little son, Junior were week end guests in Athens. Oliver PHILLIPS of near Chauncey spent over Sunday with his mother here. Several from here attended the sale of Mrs. Kate (HOYD) STOUT last Monday. There will be a candy and pie supper at Gum Tree School, Friday night, February 25. Everybody invited. Miss Audra PHILLIPS who has employment Athens was at home a few days last week. LIBERTY RIDGE Willard MYERS of Circleville is visiting relatives in this community. The Ohio Fuel is drilling at 2100 on the JOHNSON farm, Benton Township. ZALESKI R.F.D. Oakely HULL was a Zaleski visitor, last Saturday. Mr. CHRISTIAN of Ledford, Ill, was calling on J. D. WHITE and family recentley. Mrs. G. W. BOLEN of Two Mile attended services Sunday evening at Hope, conducted by Rev. Daniel TURNER. James FRIEND is assisting T. G. FLANNIGAN with his hauling this week. G. S. MCLAUGHLIN made his final trip buying fur for this season one day last week. Mrs. Wm. CHAPMAN was calling on friends in Zaleski last week. Frank HAYES who is employed at Nelsonville spent the week end with home folks. Frank WHITE was in our burg last Wednesday buying apples of Scott MCLAUGHLIN. Several from here attended services at Home Sunday evening conducted by Rev. TURNER of Two Mile. a splendid meeting has been in progress for some time, and several souls have been saved. Let the good work go on. ARBAUGH Mrs. Luella TRAINER teacher of the Radcliff school spend the week end with Mrs. S. C. MCLAUGHLIN and family."
