<PRE> I went to the Vinton County Library on Tuesday and ran into Ed Nixon, brother of Richard Nixon. I share his family linage through my great-great Grandmother Elizabeth Nixon Stevens. Ed's father left Vinton County in the early years of the last century for Columbus, Ohio where he worked on the Street car lines. Later he moved to California where the future President was born.
