McCarty visited Barbara Allman Riffle alot while her husband (Joseph Riffle) was out of town. That may be one of the reasons the old Jonas McCarty left him out of the Will. This has been a headache for our McCarty family for months. We have a descendent of Samuel's brother Jona's already in our Clan. His name is Martin "Ed" McCarty. We would like to name his ancestors for him. Samuel died in Vinton County, Ohio on 19 Dec 1926; he was 75. DC: V-5207, C-71226. Cause of death was Apoplexy. Informant was a Nick M. Riffle.
