Thanks to all that replied to my questions about the Children's Home in McArthur. I have been doing some research on the home & the people who ran it at different times. I know that a couple by the name of Hays ran it very early. I also knew that Icy Steele had run it for a time. (My cousin Dave Wilbur was the Deputy with Sheriff Harold Steele when he was shot & killed.) I am trying to find the name of a couple who ran it later--like maybe in the 60's & 70's. I know their name was either McLaughlin or McGloughlin. That might not be the correct name but it is very close. Has anyone heard of the name? I have looked everywhere and can not find the correct name. Thanks for all the suggestions--I'll try and see if that helps. Again, thanks for your help!!
