Anyway, Pearl was a popular name for men in the Ross/Vinton/Jackson/Hocking area at one time. My ex-husband's father was named Pearl, which I thought was really odd. Then I started "doing genealogy" and found it fairly often--not common, but certainly not rare. So far, no cases of female Pearl marrying male Pearl though! Tacy
I ran across a Pearl Chapel in Vinton or Athens Co., Not sure which now as it's been quite some time since I saw this. Is there a story or history to this Chapel? ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, July 28, 2002 12:50 AM Subject: [OHVINTON-L] Re: Pearl > In a message dated 7/27/02 5:48:16 PM Mountain Daylight Time, > [email protected] writes: > > << You may also find two men named Pearl >> > Sorry about the previous one--computer froze and then sent it off into > cyberspace against my will <g>!
