    3. >From the McArthur Democrat-Enquirer, February 19, 1919 "SIVERLY There will be an entertainment followed by a box supper at the Siverly School house Friday night. All are cordially invited. Rev. HANSHER is entering upon his third week in his series of meetings at Ebenezer. The attendance has been good and quite an interest has been manifested. The Reverend is quite a revivalist. Master Carl DAVIS and Mrs. Carrie DAUM are on the sick list. Master Elsworth WITHERSPOON of Delaware is visiting his grandparents Mr. And Mrs. Plyly WITHERSPOON. Mr. Kenneth MATTHEWS of Columbus is the guest of his aunt Mrs. Mary EARNHEART. Mrs. BRANUM of Lancaster spent last week with her daughter, Mrs. Carrie DAUM. Mr. Thomas DUNKLE who has been in the hospital at West Baden Indiana received his discharge and returned home last week. He will go to Columbus soon where he will enter the Ohio State University. Mr. Pearly LINN made a business trip to Liberty Hill Saturday. Miss Emma LEE spent Saturday night and Sunday with her niece Mrs. Chauncey RIGGS of near Mr. Pleasant. Mrs. Ralph PHILIPS of Haydenville spent over Sunday with home folks. Mrs. Nancy JOHNSTON and Mrs. Elizabeth JOHNSTON and daughter Betty of Mt. Gilead were the guests of Mrs. Susan RICKEY recently. Mrs. Amy GENG spent the greater part of last week at Mt. Pleasant helping to take care of her father, Mr. Joseph REDICK, who has been quite poorly. Mr. Walter CAMPBELL was a Columbus visitor last week. Mrs. Mamie PHILIPS and mother, Mrs. EARNHEART went to Carroll Monday to see Mrs. Maude HAAS, who is seriously ill. VALES MILLS Bundy SHARP and family are visiting Martin BOWEN and family in Columbia Township. Harry GREGORY spent Saturday in WELLSTON. Misses Hannah and Maye BORING spent Saturday night and Sunday with Miss Flora COOPER at Radcliff. Miss Lora PETTY spent Sunday with her aunt Mrs. BURNS near Radcliff. Miss Norma BARBER spent Sunday with friends at Arbaugh. Miss Edith BOWEN of Meigs county spent Sunday with Misses Imo and Irene COTTRILL. Dessie PERRY is assisting Mrs. J. M. ARBAUGH of Radcliff with her house work. Miss Lora PETTY, teacher of the Cottrill(?) School was called to her home near McArthur by the death of her sister's child."
