    3. Some of my gen. research goes back to Sandusky. Now, it is located in Erie County, but I need to know what County it was in, during WW1. Looking up WW1 draft cards. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Faith Butt

    3. Erie county was established in 1838 from Huron and Sandusky counties. In 1840 it expanded to its present size and Sandusky is the county seat.
