He is a welldriller with base at Lithopolis OH but lives at Buckeye Lake. He has relatives buried west of McArthur. He said they came from KY, and they had not been able to trace further. There was a story that they were buried on the farm and no records of deaths etc listed. He had more info on his mother's side, but I don't remember details. I haven't seen him for a year, but did do some checking for him. His family visit the cemetery, according to him. I have no idea whether its related to your Short line, but it may well be worth investigating. Someone in Carl's family did investigate some. His cousin died a few years ago in Lancaster, OH.
