SOURCE: Newpaper McArthur Democratic Enquirer dated April 28, 1887 "DROWNED: "Mr Henry Bobo, a life long citizen of this county, was accidentally drownded in Racoon Creek, near Zaleski, on Wednesday afternoon of last week. It is supposed that in walking along the bank of the creek towards a foot log he struck his foot against a stone and fell into the stream, his hat and cane being found close by a stone which appeared to have recently moved. The creek was high and the current quite swift, and some time elapsed before some parties passing by the spot found and recognized the hat and cane. Some persons about the Zaleski shops had observed the deceased walking near the place and noted the fact tht he disappeared. His body was found lodged on a snag a few yards below the point where fell into the creek."
