    3. Some people call this cemetery Zion, and some call it Tarr Farm. But it seems to me ,that years ago, there was a small cemetery beside the little Tarr Farm school house, which was not very far from the larger cemetery.Any, if there was one, it must have got destroyed, when the school did, when they were mining the coal out there.I remember seeing the littlewhite schoolhouse, when i was a child. 3. Dorothy: This is the cemetery out there on the road between Dundas and Rte 160 around which they did the strip mining isn't it? My cousin's soninlaw is buried there down over the hill- Paul ERvin , and the Woodruff family that used to live near us and I grew up with are buried there with their parents. I remember the old house that sat down at bottom of hill east of that cemetery, and if I am right wasn't the school on east of that on north side of the road? The stip mining sure did change the looks of everything there. 3. Hi Elsie-Yes,the school was on past that house (The Whipples lived there) and on the same side of the road, right beside the road that went back into the old Eberts place,as we called it. I think that`s where my grandparents used to live. It certainly doesn`t look like it did then, and it`s just sad,to know there`s no-one there now.Nice to hear from you again.I think everyone has been hibernated.Dorothy Morgan!!! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Elsie Rarey" <rarey@fairfieldi.com> To: <OHVINTON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 24, 2005 6:19 PM Subject: Re: [OHVINTON-L] Tarr Farm-Zion Cemetery > Dorothy: > This is the cemetery out there on the road between Dundas and Rte 160 around > which they did the strip mining isn't it?
