Jacobs was born in Allen County, Ohio on March 20th 1848 departed this life January 16th, 1908 aged 59 years, 10months and 27 days. She was married to Thomas Wren Bobo April 15th, 1864. To this union were born five children all of whom are living. After four years of widowhood she was married to J.T. Foreman on March 17th, 1896. For the past two years, she had been a constant sufferer from kidney trouble, although able to be about most of the time. About two weeks before her death was stricken with la grippe, which in her weakened condition , she was unable to withstand. She had been a faithful member of the Christian church, having joined that denomination something like 25 years ago. While unable, through ill health to attend church regularly, she lived her religion in her home and with all whom she could in any way help. She leaves to mourn her departure, a husband and five children, three step children, and numerous other relatives. She was one of the best and most devoted of wives and mothers that God ever blest a family with, always thinking of the comfort and welfare of others before herself, always kind and helpful to all her neighbors. Whenever there was sickness she was always one of the first to offer help, seeming to understand the passage of the scripture, "Who are our neigbors- all to whom we may do good" to the full extent. Although gone from us, her memory will never die and the dear name of mother we will always cherish, and try to live the life she would have us live, so that when our time shall have come to pass to the great beyond, we can meet her where all heartaches and partings are no more."
