Peck 76 of 1807 Lexington Ave died suddenly of a heart attack at 8:15a.m. Mr. Peck collapsed in front of 33 S. Belmont Avenue and his identification was not learned until 6 p.m. Friday when it was made by relatives. Mr Peck was born in Vinton County Ohio November 10, 1856. For many years he was engaged in farming and later became a builder and contractor. He had been retired for some years. Surviving him are his widow Mrs. Eliza Peck, 3 sons Foster and Russel Peck of Springfield and Elmer Peck of Columbus, 3 daughters Mrs. Zella Blair, of Troy, Ohio, Mrs Artie Kirkham of the Home Rd., Mrs Corrine Offutt of Springfield, 2 brothers George Peck of Vinton County, 1 sister of Vinton county and 14 grandchildren. The body was removed to the residence. Funeral services will be held Monday 2pm. at the Church of God on Hillside Avenue. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
