    3. SOURCE: Newspaper Obituary Republican Tribune, Vinton County Newspaper February 9, 1921 Lovina Bobo, daughter of Francis Marion Bobo and Sarah Ann Caster Bobo, was born in Columbia Township, Meigs county, Ohio on June 18, 1867 and died by falling in a spring near her home January 28, 1921. She was the oldest of 7 children all the rest of whom survive her. Leonard of Ewington, Ohio, Vincent of Point Rock, Ohio, Nancy Margaret, wife of John Boatman of Kyger, Alice wife of George VanZant of Kyger and Viola, the trained nurse who has been at home caring for her sister. Her mother passed over before her in November 1902. Her father still lives. Besides these she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn their loss. With the exception of a year that she taught school in Vinton County, practically all her life was spent in her old home, keeping the home for her father. She was of a sensitive, retiring disposition, even timid with strangers, yet a pleasant companion to visit, be with and receive calls from her circle of friends. For many years she had not been well but the sick headaches did not sour her warm and sympathetic nature, one whom to know was to love. Loving with a love intense, her friends loved her in this manner. She was one of those rare souls to whom a friend was a brother or a sister. Two years ago she accepted the love of Christ, and great was her joy. But God had given her as a part of her nature, His great spirit of self sacrifice. It was of the others she though, for the others that she lived. One of her greatest fears was lest she should become helpless and a burden to others, when it was her joy to be a help. "Whosoever would be first amoung you shall be servant to all. For the Son of Man also came not to be ministered unto but to minister and give his life a ransom for many." Mark 10:44.45 CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank all our friends and neigbors for your kindness, sympathy and help in this time of trouble. The Bobo Family.
