SOURCE: Vinton County Newspaper April 28, 1910 OBITAUARY "Arminda Tarr was born in Clinton Township Jackson County - now Vinton County.on December 26, 1837, where she grew to womanhoopd and was married to Arthur Camp on February 2, 1854. To this union were born eleven children, who grew to man and womanhood. They are Hester A. Snedacor of Turon, Kansas, Rachel E Gottle of New Straitsville, Albert Dennis deceased, L. Thomas, William R, and Silas H. of East Clinton Township, J. Hanson of Jobs, Delia M. Barnes of Vinton Township, C. Orson of Vinton Furnace, Joseph G of Vinton township, Edward Ellsworth of East Clinton township. Her husband preceded her three years ago th 7th of May... She joined the UB church some 40 years ago and was a faithful member ever after. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her ten children, brother and sisters and 58 grandchildren, also 20 grandchildren dead and 9 great grandchildren. A precious one from us has gone; Her voice is stilled; A place is vacant in our home, Which never can be filled. God in his wisdom has recalled The friends he to us has given, And though the body slumbers here The soul is safe in Heaven. Funeral services conducted by Rev. M. V. Husotn at Baird School House after which the deceased was laid to rest in the Baird Cemetery to await the resurrection morn."
