R. posts of Vinton county have effected a county organization, with Captain H. C. Jones as district commander. Some of the articles recently stolen from the store of J. G. Will & Co. of Zaleski were found secreted in a haystack at Moonville. The McArthur Enquirer says that several farmers in that vicinity who held their wool clips for higher prices, have recently sold at 25c. per pound. The family of Mr. J. Brooks, living east of McArthur in the old Gold property, are seriously afflicted with sickness. On Sunday of last week, a little girl child, aged three months, died. Two other children, are now sick and their recovery doubtful.
