    3. Hi. I have a line that came from Stokes Co., NC about 1815, give or take a year or so---not sure of the migratory year. Anyway, my 3rd. gt. gpa Nancy Vernon and Foster Tilley were wed in Stokes Co., NC and then migrated with her Vernon family to Jackson Co., OH.. Nancy's mother was a Cox from Stokes Co., NC and I have wondered if any of the Cox line migrated with the Vernons. I have not delved into that line very much yet. Just an idea there could be a connection because I always try to check everything out. If you think there is any chance your Cox line may have been in NC and may link into my Vernon line, I'll see what I can find. I think the Cox line was in VA before going to Stokes Co. in mid-late 1700's.
