    3. Dear List & R Morgan Thank you again! First how do I get to that web-site accessing just RootsWeb.com? Second, I am really, really curious now since I went to the map of Madison... there are 2 sections of 109 & 100 acres with A. Bryson and 40 acres with A. Bryson Jr. The document I received from BLM states that Abraham Bryson bought 81 acres - Section 5, Township 1, Range 3. I am not sure that this is the same as the Madison map. If you would be SO KIND as to review the Madison map and confirm it as the same or different I would appreciate it greatly! I would also enjoy a comparison of current Vinton County to this old map. The Denver McCarty in Vinton County, do you have any further data on him? Is there a way I can get a look at the marriage of Samuel McCarty & Lorinda Laughlin? I need to see the parents of Samuel McCarty for sure. I do not want to liable Barbara Allman Riffle's name if she was not the mother. You see, Barbara was married to Joseph Riffle when she conceived this McCarty if it is true. On 13 Nov 1881 when Lorinda was 27, she married Samuel McCARTY, son of Martin McCARTY (ca 1830?) & Barbara ALLMAN, in Vinton County, Ohio. [2] V-4, P-215, L-642. Born in May 1? 1851 in Ohio. Samuel died in Vinton County, Ohio on 19 Dec 1926; he was 75. DC: V-5207, C-71226. Cause of death was Apoplexy. Informant was a Nick M. Riffle. Buried in McCarty Cemetery Vinton County, Ohio. 1910-Census-OH-Vinton-Vinton Township. ???????? 1910 census visit 149. Number of children derived from the 1910 census. They had the following children: i. Number 1 Child. ii. Number 2 Child.

    3. Thanks for the map! I am real curious about the D. M. Bryson you mentioned. I thought the Bryson family that stayed in Vinton area had "died off." Abram Bryson/Brison and his wife Nancy McKee Bryson are written about in the History of Hocking County. Abraham (Sr.) died at the age of 84 and son Abraham, John, and Harrison and daughter Margaret Louisa Bryson (all unmarried) were still living on the land in Zaleski. I would love to find out what HAPPENED to the farm land!!! I just do not know where to proceed with my inquiries. I also have been searching for information on Abraham & Nancy McKee Bryson parents.... (This is everyone's story.) THANKS to this group I was given information on where to find copies of public land sale! Abraham bought the land and I have gotten the BLM to send me a copy. I have read (somewhere) that the APPLICATION for buying public land may have personal information regrading the buyer... Do you know if this is true and where to look for the application? Guess I need to make a trip to Ohio, but at this time it is not possible, so thank you again for your help!!! I am the only person I know that is researching this Bryson family. I have several List that I belong to and have made no connection.
