    3. I'm recieving quite alot of e-mail from Vinton County also, but no way near 60 a day, I enjoy all that I get. Haven't seen anything on any of my lines as of yet, I've learned a lot about some of these small towns that I never knew about. My Surnames are, Andrews, Craig, Nichols/Nichels, Cox. 3. Sarah, I am listing this for everyone to read just in case someone else is feeling the same way... Sign up for the digest (1 e-mail a day) listing. We don't want to loose you. Just unsubscribe to the OHVINTON-L, and subscribe to the OHVINTON-D list. You will still receive all messages but you will get them all at one time the following morning. It has really cut down on the number of messages I receive. I also switch from -L (list) to -D(digest) listing on the when I am planning to leave on vacation (and switch back when I return) for the ones I want to receive on the list. I never check my e-mail messages during this time. To unsubscribe from OHVINTON-L, send a message to OHVINTON-L- [email protected] that contains in the body of the message the command unsubscribe and no other text. No subject line is necessary, but if your software requires one, just use unsubscribe in the subject, too. To subscribe to OHVINTON-D, send a message to OHVINTON-D- [email protected] that contains in the body of the message the command subscribe and no other text. No subject line is necessary, but if your software requires one, just use subscribe in the subject, too. I hope this helps, Sheila ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: [email protected] (Sarah Gillman) Reply-To: [email protected] Date: Thu, 5 Dec 2002 23:46:57 -0500 (EST) >I am recieving up to 60 e-mails a day from OHVINTON- [email protected] How >do I ________________________________________________________________ CPAs . . . 2. Matt not that I know of now. I printed off your note JUST in case something comes along. Jesse came from Va. That is all we know. And his year of birth was 1809 d 1881 so we have no idea of his siblings etc. I did notice a William Collins in a very early Clinton Twp. census tho. I think it was 1820. And there are some very early land records for Collins in Vinton Co. but so far I have no connection there. Start with the land records and work back.. Susie

    3. Susie, I don't think you are crazy at all for collecting a brick from the hotel. My mother has one from the Deshler-Wallick Hotel in Columbus, Ohio and if she had known the Ice House in Wellston was being torn down she would have sent me to get a brick or piece of something for her. She grew up in Wellston and I think if she could, she would move back there even though most of her friends are dead now. She is 87 now but still wants to go to see her old house on 6th ave. every time I bring her down.
