    1. [OHUNION-L] Motor Vehicle Records - Harold Lee Bishop, missing
    2. Jacqueline Baral
    3. Good afternoon everyone, Would anyone know how far back vehicle registration records go? When were auto registrations first required in Ohio? Would some kind person have access to old phone directories (1922-1940) for cities/counties of Union Co, Marysville & Summit Co, Akron? My grandfather, Harold Lee Bishop disappeared from the Marysville/Pottersburg area in January 1926. I've just discovered that he re-appeared in the Akron area again in 1928-193?. Family "tales" lose him after 1928-'30. I've already been in contact with the Akron & Marysville Police Depts. about "missing person" reports. Akron PD found no arrest record (while searching for a missing person report) and Marysville told me their records don't date back to the 1920s/'30s. Thanks so much in advance for any help that anyone might be able to give me. 3. I am very interested in your email about the History of Union County. My great, great uncle was Thomas S. Loveless, b. 1821, moved to Logan Co. then onto Union. He had a mercantile company which had his name in it from about 1870 to 1890. I was hoping to get some background on Thomas. Could you advise. Members of the British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa are locating and indexing the names of these Home Children found in passenger lists in the custody of the National Archives of Canada." http://www.archives.ca/exec/naweb.dll?fs&020110&e&top&0 and http://www.archives.ca/exec/naweb.dll?fs&02011002&e&top&0 ....
