Does anyone know who his parents were, or if he is listed in a census? I am looking for a John Anderson, son of Stephen Anderson and brother to Nancy Anderson. He is mentioned as a co-executor in a will in 1841 and perhaps an 1848 will. The only John Anderson I can't account for is the one married to Eleanor Crawford and as such, I am hoping he is the right one. All the John Anderson's I have noted came to Trumbull after 1825. Also, the John Anderson listed in the 1830 Howland census is married to Matilda Bell. Any help would be appreciated. I am still unable to unravel the 5 James Anderson families and to whom my Anderson's belong. I believe my family is from James Anderson of Liberty but other people say Howland.
