Hello: I'm taking the liberty of butting in here. I am also researching Coats/Coates in Trumbull County, OH. Ransom Coates is the person I am most interested in. Several years ago I received information from Hortense Wilkinson of Fremont, NE. She had researched all the Coats/Coates families there. I am glad to see there are others interested and I would be very interested in exchanging information with you.
