Don't be sorry - it was a wonderful read! Would you mind to look through your books for any notations on the surname Burnside/ Burnsides? I am coming up to the area in September but would like to have a "heads up" on what I may be able to find. The only thing I really know is that a John Burnside was kicked by a horse and died in 1885. I have a little obit that the library sent me but surely there must be more info available about all the Burnsides that lived in Trumbull. Hope you have a speedy recovery and thanks for your help!
