No luck again. I'm rather surprised at that, if they were in Trumbull Co. at the time, since the draft records are usually pretty nearly complete. There were 3 registrations carried out in 1917-18, and included all men between 18 and 45 (officially, those born between 11 September, 1872 and 12 September, 1900. Even aliens were included - citizenship didn't matter. So, as soon as I get to Trumbull Co. I'll check the City Directories for Warren and Niles for James, Frederick, and Wilson. I'll also have a look at the burial records to see if I can find any of them. The largest cemetery in Niles is (or was) Union Cemetery. It's now known as Niles City Cemetery.
