When i was researching Bloomfield also, a fellow genealogist told me that it is now called Brookfield, Ohio. I did not agree with this, until she sent me a census and a map-and sure enough my Bloomfield, Trumbull County, Ohio was Brookfield, Trumbull County, Ohio--right by the Pa./Oh lines. Hope this helps.
