THEIR YOUNGEST DAUGHTER MARRIED IRA BATES THESE ARE MY GREAT GREAT GRANDPARENTS.MY FATHER NEVER KNEW ANYTHING OF HIS HISTORY HIS MOTHER DIED WHEN HE WAS 14 MONTHS OLD. There is an Ira Bates that m. a Spencer, Jane Laura of Kinsman 14 Mar 1867, by David King, MG. 1880 census for Hartford, Trumbull Co. listed Ira, b. 1831 in Ohio, both parents born in NY, m, farming Wife Laury. b. 1844, OH, both parents from NY Children Willie b. 1864 in OH Florence b. 1871 in OH Charles b. 1884 in OH Chancy b. 1879 in OH Freddie b. 1880 in OH, Could this be your family?
