It is a very interesting diary written by Lucy Ward Parker in 1862 for the entire year, with many additional items of interest. I don't remember that Parker or Ward was in your list of surnames, but the reading is still interesting, and I believe you will recognize some of the names mentioned. The gentleman responsible for this was in town recently and we had the pleasure of he and his wife's company for lunch at the Wayne Town Hall. A very interesting day!
