I wonder if someone could suggest how I can track down some probate/guardianship records that exist in the following: Supposedly my g-g-g grandfather was Nathen Johnson(Johnston). This from an elderly relative. He married Anna Scott in Youngstown on 1/1/1807 (already confirmed). Of course Youngstown was in Trumbull at the time. Supposedly Nathen died around 1826 in Youngstown, leaving my g-g grandfather, John S. Johnson (Johnston), and 3 younger brothers: William, Moses and Nathen or Nathaniel. John was 19, but the others were young enough for guardians to be appointed, and supposedly records exist on this. My elderly relative, unfortunately, doesn't consider documentation to be important, so I don't yet have a verifiable link between Nathen Sr. and the named sons, especially John S.
