I wrote to the Mahoning Co., OH. probate court for a birth certificate for my grandmother, Mary Ruth Ryser (19 July 1894). I received a "Sorry no record here" response. I'm wondering if I should write again and ask them to try a different name spelling. Or, did I write to the wrong probate court? She was supposed to be born in North Jackson, OH. Joani
