    3. Hi Mary Ann, Thank you so much for responding to my quest. I honestly don't know that you will find stones as I've not been able to locate anything but a newspaper obituary. I'm sure the man was buried someplace, however, so would like to locate where. Thought perhaps if I could locate the records of who purchased lots that would be of help. The person I'm attempting to locate was Luke Kendall. He died "at the home of Deacon Asa Smith" in Bloomfield on 25 August 1843. Asa was his son-in-law and lived in Bloomfield Center. I understand Brownwood Cemetery was established in 1836 so thought it probable that's where he was buried, but find nothing in the Trumbull County Ohio Cemetery Inscriptions 1800-1930 publication of Trumbull County's Genealogical Society (1983). Asa died in 1850 and is buried in Bloomfield Center. There is a Harry Kendall (no idea who he might have been) listed in the Belmont Cemetery, Sycamore Section (page 253) but that's it for Kendalls. Luke's son, Nathaniel Kendall, appears to have had land just north of Bloomfield Center at that time, and Luke and his wife were living near him at the time of the 1840 census. The 1850 census shows Luke's widow, Mercy, and Asa's widow, Olive Kendall Smith, still living in Bloomfield, so I feel relatively certain he was buried in Bloomfield. Would like to locate some record. While I'm here, do you know who to contact for 1820s records of the Congregational Church in Bristolville (Bristol Township)? Thanks a bunch for any help you might be able to provide. Carol Jo Luke and Mercy's gr, gr, gr grand-daughter
