Hello list I am trying to piece together my BOYD history & they have been my biggest puzzle so far. I need to find the whereabouts of Robert & Sarah ( MILLER) BOYD (my gggrandparents) in 1870. They are listed in the 1860 census-Bazetta township. They are apparently not found in Bazetta by 1870 census.(per a previous lookup). I have since found a cemetary listing in Howland township that appears to be the right family though some of the dates are not a match. (I have sent for death certificates of some of the males buried at this site to try to determine if they are in fact brothers of my Samuel. My ggrandfather Samuel Jackson BOYD married in Trumbull Co in 1888 & resided there. I am hoping to establish what happened to other members of his family. My father grew up in Trumbull Co & says he knew of only 1 cousin a Frank BOYD, who later moved away so he thought the family had only lived briefly in Trumbull The family if found in 1870 census consists of Parents: Robert & Sarah BOYD Children: Robert 23yrs (may not be at home) Eliza 19yrs a/a John 17yrs William 13yrs Samuel 11yrs may be other children born after 1860 census Would also love to connect with anyone researching this family.
