Lucy A. Custer was b. in Trumbull Co., OH. She moved to Osceola Co., MI in the fall of 1878. She is on the 1884 MI State Census, 25 years of age, single, domestic servant "Mrs. Lucy Trescott, wife of Chauncey Trescott, died at Nirvana January 18, 1886, and was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Evart Township, January 20 [1886]. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Judah Custer of Evart Township." EVART REVIEW: 5 Feb. 1886, Pg.5:3 #696 Mrs. Lucy Trescott, wife of Chauncy Trescott, died on July 18, 1886, at Nirvana, Lake Co., and was buried at Woodland Cemetery, Evart township, Jan. 20th. Her death was a sad loss to all with whom she was acquainted, and especially her husband, parents and sisters. She was a loving woman and trusting wife.
