He had been ill for the past 3 months of complications. MrKistler was born 2 Oct 1881 in NewtonFalls, a son of DanielS & Abbie Bailey Kistler. He had served as deacon of First Christian Church, had been a member of all the orders of the Masons & held a 32nd degree in that fraternity. He was past patron of Ida McKinley Chapter-OES & former president of the local Kiwanis Club. MrKistler was a partner in Niles Transfer Co. He was a flower fancier & maintained a flower shop at the rear of his home where he spent many hours. Surviving are his wife EvaB & 2 bros: EmersonD-NewtonFalls; HermanE-Warren. Service will be held Tues afternoon at Holloway Funeral Home RevW Wilson-Christian Church will officiate. The Knights Templar will also conduct their ceremony. Burial will be at Oakwood Cem-Warren. OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 15 Nov 1960 EVA B KISTLER: NewtonFalls; 75, a practical nurse in this area for the past 45 years, died Sun morn in Trumbull Memorial Hosp after a 4 weeks illness of complications. She was born 5 Nov 1885. MrsKistler was a member of First Christian Church, Ida McKinley Chapter-OES & was a graduate of Hiram College. Her husband, Adelbert Kistler, died 21 years ago. Two nieces survive: MrsRobert BartoJr-Painesville & MrsDonald Mounts-NewtonFalls. Service will be held Tues afternoon at Reese Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cem.
