MrsGeyer was born 7 Sep 1886 in Kinsman, a dau of Mr&Mrs Abslom Bates & had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of Kinsman Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are her husband-Michael Geyer, whom she married 14 May 1914; 3 sons: Robert-NewRichmond; David-WheelingWV; Donald-Kinsman; 7 grandchildren & 3 gr grandchildren. Service will be held Fri afternoon at Baumgardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem. OBIT: OH-Warren Tribune 08 Nov 1977 MICHAEL F GEYER: Kinsman; 105, Trumbull County's oldest resident, died Mon afternoon in Warren General Hosp. MrGeyer was born 22 Jan 1872 in Columbus, a son of George & Caroline Horch Geyer. On 14 May 1914, he married Isadore Bates, who died in 1974. A resident here since 1945, coming from Williamsfield, he was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church. MrGeyer was well-known for his love of baseball. During the Kinsman Sesquicentennial, he & MrsGeyer served as king-queen. For many years, he was a member of the section crew for the NYCentral RR. He was last employed as a watchman at the former Glauber Brass Factory. Survivors include 3 sons: Robert-HamiltonOH; David-WheelingWV; Donald-Kinsman; 7 grandchildren & 6 gr grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 9 bros & sis. Service will be held Thurs afternoon at Baumgardner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kinsman Cem.
